Colourful Agama
The name "Agama" is derived from the colourful family of lizards that frequent the drier and open savannah regions of Africa, this was also the first creature to make itself visible when we entered the old farm gate, it seemed fitting to indulge this inquisitive reptile in the name sake.
OUR FACILITIES
LODGE
- Agama River Lodge Chalets
Our chalets are situated on the upper banks of the 'Dieprivier' river course, each chalet is thirty two square metres, and twenty five metres adrift.
Each chalet has A/C, two modern three quarter beds, side tables with lamps, an open cuboard, a long wall mounted table which can be used to put a suitcase on or apply make-up from. a strong desk fan for air circulation, a portable lamp for emergencies, two extra blankets for the cold nights.Two chairs are also provided inside the room and two for the veranda.
The bathroom has a large spacious shower with hand basin and mirror. The toilet is a separate facility separated by a solid door.
Each Chalet has a solid deck for the option of sleeping under the sky or simply for an elavated view.
Available also to all Agama occupants is our friendly restaurant with great food and a cosy bar, as well as a sunset viewing deck and swimming pool.

A deposit of 50% of the full package/services quoted is due, owing and payable upon confirmation of any reservation. The balance of the price is due, owing and payable on Check-in. Where reservations are made within 30 days of date of arrival, payment is due within 72 hours.

Check-in time is from 14h00, and check out time is 10h00.
Earlier check in time, if requested, will be considered subject to availability of rooms. In all instances expected time of arrival must be advised.

All bookings, amendments and cancellations must be made in writing.
All written bookings, amendments and cancellations will be valid once we confirm in writing.
Provisional bookings will be held for 14 days and will be automatically released where no written confirmation or cancellation is received.
Provisional bookings made within the cancellation period will be held for a period of 24 hours and will be automatically released where no written confirmation or cancellatio is received.
Direct bookings: In order to secure or confirm a booking a valid credit card number has to be provided to deduct the 50% deposit.
Please note that ALL MEALS need to be booked at least 10 days in advance.
